The following are a set of views that illustrate what you can do
with your Microsoft Analysis Services cube data:
Top 100 Products Worldwide
Sales Last Two Months
Top Customers
Top Customers With No Purchases In
Current Year
1. All of these views are based on specific subsets of an Analysis
Services cube, using local cubes created with CubeSlice.
2. These local cubes have been uploaded to the cloud and are now
being displayed in Panorama's new Analytical Gadget. This advanced
pivot table allows the user to change what is displayed on columns
and rows, add any slicers, create complex calculations, display a
variety of charts, and export the view to a PDF file. At the present
time, the cloud storage of the local cubes and the use of Panorama's
Analytical Gadget is free. (Advertisements appear on the bottom of
the control.)
3. You can create your own local cube files from your Analysis
Server cubes, upload them to the cloud, and display them on your web
site with the Panorama Analytics Gadget, as we are doing here. You
can also send users a link so they can view the Analytics Gadget in
igoogle. Or you can distribute the local cubes and let each user
upload it to the cloud to view it with the Gadget.
