The Convenience of CubeSlice 

CubeSlice is easy to use. CubeSlice is a convenient tool for helping people get familiar with multidimensional (OLAP) browsing.

You can use CubeSlice Share files without installing any software. All you need is a computer that has Microsoft Office XP or Microsoft Office 2003.

CubeSlice is not as complicated as many other OLAP client tools. It doesn’t have as many options. It’s simpler – and it’s easier to use.

You can put as many views as you want in a CubeSlice file. Even if your users don’t want to browse the data for themselves, you can still let them look at the data from a variety of different perspectives.

CubeSlice is a great tool for learning multidimensional (OLAP) browsing because the users can always easily return to the data the way it was before they started browsing. Users are more willing to try OLAP browsing when they know they can un-do the changes that they make.

You can export your CubeSlice data to Microsoft Excel – either to an Excel Pivot Table or an Excel spreadsheet. Many users are familiar with Microsoft Excel and CubeSlice gives them the options to move easily to Excel to continue analyzing their data.
